Quiet an impressive picture indeed. Difficult picture and I understand that the autofocus fell to have the head sharp. May be you could have taken the bird when he was more distant and crop a little bit in post processing. I would have like to see the feet and all the tail. Great DOF even with F/8.

@akarui: Hello Akarui, I was sitting near the trainer (about three meters) and the vulture really touch my lens, with the left wing. Image only crop on top and a little bit on right. Thanks for your comments, always welcome
